Responsible Gaming

One bet too many?
We want our players to have fun while gaming at Aloha Shark, so we encourage you to gamble responsibly at all times. Gambling should be fun. Borrowing money to play, spending more than you can afford or using money set aside for other purposes is unwise and can lead to significant problems for yourself and others around you. The Aloha Shark team wants players to be safe with their gaming and wise with the way they play.

We help you set the limits!
We want to give you the opportunity to set your own gaming limits, budgets, and boundaries. That's why we work with the Global Gambling Guidance Group (G4), which certifies Internet gaming sites for this purpose. Together we provide you with tools to prevent unhealthy gaming behaviour and enable you to play responsibly.

You can set daily, weekly or monthly limits on how much you can deposit to your account from your card either by visiting the 'Responsible Gambling' area of 'My Account', by clicking here or by contacting Customer Service. Simply email support-jp@alohashark.com. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Need to cool off?
Sometimes the heat of the moment can get the best of us. We can offer you a variety of cool off options, ranging from 24-hour Time Outs to indefinite Self Exclusion. If you feel that you need a longer period or a permanent exclusion – please contact our Customer Service.

Reality check
Everyone at Aloha Shark wants to help you control and monitor your own gambling. The Reality Check we offer is to help you keep track of how long you have been playing. It will stop the game you're currently playing until you either select to continue or exit.

For players gambling under the Curacao license, the Reality Check pop up is activated by default and is triggered every 60 minutes to remind players of their gaming activity.

Please note that sometimes our Reality Check pop up will display different buttons to continue playing or to exit the game depending on the game provider. Some providers may log you out of Aloha Shark when you select to exit the game.

Gaming provider reality checks
Live casino games from Evolution have their own Reality Check within their games set by default to every 60 minutes. Your Aloha Shark Reality Check settings will therefore not affect live casino games provided by Evolution.

Self-assessment test
If you are concerned about your gambling or you suspect that you may be developing a gambling problem, please try our Self-Assessment Test. The results will help you understand your gambling habits and assist you in addressing any potential gambling issues. You may find the result interesting. If you are concerned about your test result, consider activating a time out on your account or contact our Customer Service to receive further help and advice.
